Friends for Skateparks set up a mobile park for the June 3rd Night Market in the parking lot of Broomwagon. Skaters, bikers and rollerbladers seized the opportunity and threw down nearly a 4 hour long insane session that gathered crowds throughout the evening.
Friends for Skateparks board members Roderick Saylor, Reid Small and Steve Guynn were on hand talking about the future for Lexington’s skateparks. We were also selling some awesome t-shirts with 100% of the proceeds going back into our nonprofit to benefit Lexington’s parks.
We still have t-shirts for sale for $25. The t-shirts are Bella+Canvas unisex Triblend short sleeve t-shirts. If you would like to order a t-shirt please email us at friendsforskateparks@gmail.com with the style and size you want. Payment can be made via our PayPal account.
Friends for Skate Parks would like to thank Broomwagon Bikes + Coffee and Barbarian Supply Company for inviting us out and letting us set up a booth. Also, a huge THANK YOU to all the rippers that came out to participate in the event. Dads with their kids in tow, kids with their Dads in tow, daily riders and some that just stopped in for a trick… without you it would have been an empty lot with a quarterpipe in the corner. You guys made the event a huge success!!!! We will do this again soon! The support you showed for Friends for Skateparks is why we do this.
Skate and destroy!
T-shirts available in large and extra large.
